West Bromwich Albion 1931 F.A Cup Winners. The 1931 FA Cup Final was contested by West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham at Wembley. West Brom won 21, with both of their goals scored by W. G. Richardson. Joe Bradford had equalised matters, before Richardson put the Baggies ahead again sixty seconds later. The match was reported in the Birmingham Sports Argus which produced that evenings edition in a special run on blue paper in place of the normal pink.

Jeff Astle scored 137 goals in 292 games for West Brom between 1964 and 1974, in 1970 Astle scored in Albion's 2-1 defeat by Manchester City in the League Cup final, becoming the first player to score in the finals of both of the major English cup competitions.
